Our  classroom curriculum meets and exceeds Texas standards. Our kinder learning goals for the year are:

• Reading and writing in English and Spanish.

• Math

  • (Units, tens, additions and subtractions

  • Problems solving and reasoned.

  • Counting  5 by 5 and 10.

  • Coins and money.

  • Mental arithmetic.

Eva "Bony" Yanar

Hi, my name is Mrs. Yanar!

Last year I started at Peace Lutheran in charge of the elementary after school program. And this year I am very excited to be the kindergarten teacher for this 2020-2021 school program, following the education standards for the state of Texas.

Some of my education achievements are:

• I studied  Bilingual Education at UTEP.

• I have been working as a teacher since 1994

• I worked at Colegio Ibero in Cd. Juarez as a teacher and General Coordinator from 2010 to 2016.

Some personal things about me :

*I am in sports, such as spinning, Triathlons, bicycling, running and swimming. 

• I enjoy listening to music 

• I have been married for 23 years and I have an amazing son!.

• But most of all I LOVE teaching and being with children.

I cannot wait to see what this school year brings. I know that with God’s help all things are possible and I look forward to seeing you and your children soon. And seeing the incredible growth your children and I will accomplish together.

Anabel Corral

Hi, my name is Anabel Corral. I’m married and I have three children, a 15 year old boy, a 10 year old boy and a 5 year old girl that I love with all my heart. They are my engine and my motivation of my everyday life.

I consider myself a very enthusiastic person, with a very joyful personality. I danced ballet for over 12 years, and still love to see ballet performances. Since a
very young age I’ve liked to take care of younger kids. I love spending time with them and the happiness they bring to my life. When taking ballet classes, my teacher invited me to teach a ballet class for preschool girls. Since that very first day I knew my passion was to be a teacher. I
also taught catechisms classes for children 7-10 years old for over 5 years and loved it. I have been volunteering in kids’ school for over 8 years now. I’ve assisted in Book fairs, I’ve been a teacher assistant, in field trips as chaperone and every other activity I can possible participate.

I am very interested in growing as a professional in the educational field and Godwilling I will continue to be part of this wonderful school for many years to come.
