Parents for Peace

Parents for Peace (PFP) is an organization comprised of parents and guardians volunteering their time and talents to support Peace Lutheran Preschool and Learning Center. PFP includes parents and guardians representing each one of the school's classrooms, as well as serving in leadership and planning positions.

Areas of focus for Parents for Peace:

  • Help to ensure each classroom has a ROOM PARENT, a reliable and dependable parent who helps their lead teacher with organizing class parties, assisting with large projects, or helping with things teachers may need.

  • Encourage parent involvement and support of school activities through raising funds and volunteering their time to school programs.

  • Organize and carry out fundraisers for the school.

  • Meet monthly to plan for events and monitor progress.

  • Communicate ongoing and upcoming activities with staff and families.

We encourage our network of parents and guardians to come together to help plan and organize the many events, activities and fundraisers scheduled throughout the school year. See below for examples of the events planned for this year:
